Symptom

Scenario
Configure the Mailer service on the Job Service page.
In SAP Business One, send an e-mail.
Expected behavior
Mailer service is working and emails can be sent from the SAP Business One client application.
Actual behavior
Mailer service stops working and emails cannot be sent from the SAP Business One client application.
Solution
SAP intends to provide a patch or patches in order to solve the problem described. The section References below will list the specific patches once they become available, and the Related Info content of relevant patches in the SAP Support Portal will show this SAP Note. Be aware that these references can only be set at patch release date. SAP will deliver patches only for selected releases at its own discretion, based on the business impact and the complexity of the implementation.
Workaround
Go to the Job Service page, choose Stop then Start. E-mails should now be successfully sent.
